Interviewer: And here we have My Chemical Romance…umm…Everybody can you just state your names and say what you play?

Gerard: Sure, I’m Gerard. I sing.

Frank : I’m Frank. I play guitar.

Matt: I’m Matt. I play drums.

Mikey: I’m Mikey. I play bass.

Interviewer: Now how long have you guys been a band for?

Gerard: We’ve been a band for two years…uhh…in January, so I guess it’s a little over that now …so wow! It’s been like two-and-half-years almost…

Matt: yeah…

Interviewer: Um…You guys signed to a bigger label?

[Gerard and Frank both begin to answer at the same time, but the interviewer aims the mic at Gerard first]

Gerard: We signed to Reprise.

Frank : [Mic now on Frank] Uhh…yeah Reprise..

 [they giggle]

Interviewer: I know you guys have been on tour for a really long time, and you’re going to be on tour for another really long time..umm…I don’t know if you guys have any, like, stories from tour? Like, I don’t know maybe… If you go to strip clubs or anything while you’re on the road?

Gerard: Yeah, there’s really not any stories, because as far as stuff like that we’re not like a Mötley Crue-ish type band like that

Interviewer : Do you wanna be like a Mötley Crue type band? Are you heading in that direction?

Gerard: Um…I think we want to play a lot of video games …[Frank, Mikey and Inteviewer start laughing] and collect a lot of toy…

Mikey: We wanna….We wanna roll up Dungeons & Dragons characters…

Gerard: [Nodding]…Yeah…That’s what we really wanna ..play Dungeons & Dragons really bad…and we can’t get a group together …and you would think that you have seven or eight, or what we have nine in the van now— [Matt confirms with a “yeah”] —guys we can get a really good game going…but uhh…not everybody is into Dungeons & Dragons you know?

[Frank is shaking his head and silently laughing at Gerard]

Frank: Let’s just get this ….First off, three members like Dungeons & Dragons. [Gerard starts laughing]

Interviewer: [to Frank] Are you one of them?

Frank: [Smiling] I watched the cartoon , when I was young , and that’s about it……But no, I don’t go on quests [ Gerard bursts out laughing] …..That’s more of a Gerard thing

Gerard: I paint little orcs…[Frank hides his head in his arm and laughs]….that’s really weird, especially for like, a twenty-seven year old …I have a Hobbit sword-

Interviewer : [Interrupting Gerard]: - Now do you guys watch porn?

Gerard: Yeah..I mean like..Ray watches it, too.

[Frank confirms and nods]

Frank : Ray loves porn

Gerard: We like porn…I mean porn’s cool

Interviewer: [to Frank] What about you? You’re not off the hook…Do you watch porn?

Frank: Umm…yeah..I….of cour-…[Frank and Gerard start laughing] …I mean who doesn’t like porn though? I mean…you know?

Interviewer: [to Gerard] Do you have a favorite porn star or anything?

Gerard: Uhh…I know quite a few pornstar names…umm…I’m more of a fan of the Score Magazine variety girls, or maybe the more naturally-endowed girls, like on—

Interviewer : [Interrupting Gerard] – Oh, so would you like a website like BurningAngel , where you know, more of the girls are sort of natural, like real girls, like you know , you could have seen interviewing your band or…[Matt laughs] uh..you know? Maybe like at a show or anything? [Interviewer smiles]

Gerard: Yeah,You know I’m more into people that look real, and like…ummm…people that like, I’ve even dated throughout my life …they’re just…they’re real!

[Everyone starts laughing]

Interviewer: They’re not like blow-up dolls or anything?

Gerard:  [Smiling] No. No…They’re people that look—I mean— none of them have ever looked alike, So I usually try to find …like a…[Matt is laughing] …I like someone who is really beautiful for being unique, you know what I mean? [Frank nods along in agreement] And that’s why .. like sites like yours, when its real people ,  it’s obviously it’s a lot cooler than, like, somebody that’s a porn star that makes tons of money and hangs out by pools in Hollywood and stuff like that.

Interviewer: You’re on a DVD right now, People are going to be watching this interview in between a bunch of sex scenes you know? [Matt laughs] People are going to be banging, and then this interview is going to come up. So there might be a guy on the other side of the screen that just finished jerking off,and now your interview is coming up , do you have anything to say to these people?

Gerard: Ummm… YOUR MOM’S COMING!

[Everyone bursts out laughing]

Frank : [Talking to the camera] You should be ashamed at yourself

Gerard: What I think you should do is inter-cut it. [Interviewer and Frank burst out laughing] So like, right before—

Interviewer: Right before the money shot? There’s just like.. “So, we like Dungeons & Dragons”

Gerard: Yes! Yes!

Matt: Exactly.

Interviewer: Ok now, is there anything else anybody else has to say? Anything you want to add?

Gerard: I think we’ve dug a giant hole [Frank chuckles], but we all jumped fucking headfirst in it at this point. Nah, it was really fun, I’m just playing around… Umm, no. Uhh…[Looks at camera] Just fucking keep doing your thing, man.   [Gerard makes a hand gesture that represents jerking off/masturbating]

[ Everyone giggles]

Interviewer: [Still giggling] Okay. Thanks. Everybody wave bye

[Everyone waves]

Gerard: [Waving] Buh-Bye
